Congratulations and Bravo to all the organisers and participants of last night's roof raising concert.
Despite the awful weather, the sold out tickets turned into bums on seats, so, thank you to our very supportive audience.
We expect to handover a useful donation to each of our chosen charities. (watch this space)

The main batch of tickets are now sold out ! It remains to be seen whether or not there are any unsold tickets remaining with members.
The venue is our limiting factor for capacity because all bodies (audience, singers, musicians, staff) count toward the maximum for health and safety.
2026 will see us performing our summer concert at the Corn Exchange.

Subject to confirmation in the new season, there could be some exciting news to relay related to our December concert.
Hopefully, everyone is having a great summer break and not suffering withdrawal symptoms too much.

As of last Thursday evening 9-5-24, just over half of the 400 tickets for the June concert had been sold. At our December 23 concert we were sold out and had to turn away people without tickets. SO, if you haven't bought your tickets, please do so soon !

The long awaited final draft of the new Constitution was presented to the membership in advance of last evening's SGM. Its acceptance was proposed, seconded and confirmed by a 66%+ majority of the large turnout of the members present at the meeting.

An EGM has been called for the 31st August with a single agenda item, namely the election of persons to fill vacant Committee posts. Volunteers are sought from KLCC members to take various roles described in email to the membership.

At a point during a disappointing AGM, some Committee members resigned. With no 'Officers' remaining, the meeting had to be abandoned with the expectation of an EGM to follow ASAP.
