History
Welcome to Autumn 2021
The Autumn term started on 16th September in a new Venue and at a new time.
Simply Sing and the Woottons ‘ Community Choirs are joining under the continued musical direction of Charlotte Hill, accompanied by David Hill. This has resulted in a much larger choir, so we have moved into a bigger venue at Springwood High School.
We have a varied repertoire from traditional folk songs, choral pieces, popular show tunes to more modern songs.
At some point this term we will be renaming the choir and relaunching it at a Christmas Concert in December.
Welcome to 2019!
Happy new year!
The Christmas term is always a busy one, and we made it! Our end of term concert overall went well, We had fun and the feedback from the audience was very positive. I don’t have the amount collected to hand, but I’m sure that’ll be given out at one of the upcoming rehearsals.
Our first rehearsal back is Thursday, 10/01/2019. Time to put the carosl away, get some new music, and continue to enjoy some of the old music we’ve spent so long working on.
Christmas Concert 2022
Our Christmas concert was very well attended. Though cold in the chapel, the warm and friendly atmosphere, not to mention the mulled wine, was well appreciated.
One of the objectives of the concert was to support a local charity. In this case it was the King's Lynn Night Shelter. https://www.klnightshelter.org.uk/
We are very pleased to announce that a total of £1800 was raised and gratefully received.
